Benedict Dresel, born in 1994, studied philosophy, physics, and computer science at Paris Lodron University Salzburg, LMU Munich, Technical University of Munich and FernUniversität Hagen. He works as a freelance software developer and contributed to interdisciplinary projects, e.g. in aerospace, biology, IT security. In his spare time, he pursues astrophotography. He co-founded Luminium because he enjoys making reality more beautiful and wants to democratize art.

Katia Sophia Ditzler, born in 1992, is a transdisciplinary media artist, writer, and filmmaker. With formal training in creative writing, transmedia arts, cultural anthropology, shadow puppetry, and philosophy from various institutions in Leipzig, Berlin, Moscow, Kyiv, Yogyakarta, Melbourne, and Zurich. Her writing has appeared in various publications across the German-speaking world. Her films, installations, and hybrid works have been presented internationally at festivals and exhibitions across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. She co-founded Luminium to help artists carve out a home for themselves on the internet.
